Cinco de Mayo is a fun holiday celebrating Mexican heritage on the 5th day of May. Here is a sweet treat sombrero made from ready to assemble ingredients. Get the kids in on this, they will love putting them together.
Ingredients:
Pecan Sandy cookies
White icing
Gumdrop candies
mixed color sprinkles
Assemble:
Pipe a ring of icing around the edge of the cookie. and add color sprinkles to look like colorful tassels on a sombrero brim.
Add a dot of icing in the center of the cookie and place a gumdrop on it for the hat crown.
That really is all there is to it. How fun is that?
